Muskegon is a port city located along the shores of Lake Michigan to the northwest of Grand Rapids in Western Michigan.

Muskegon Lakeshore Trail

The Muskegon Lakeshore Trail is an 8.5-mile long paved trail that follows along the south banks of Lake Muskegon. The trail extends from Beachwood Park along the banks of Lake Michigan to Lake Avenue on the east end of the lake. The trail travels by the marinas along Lake Muskegon, Heritage Landing and Veterans Memorial Park.

Musketawa Trail

The Musketawa Trail is a 26-mile long paved trail that extends from the eastern part of Muskegon to the outskirts of Grand Rapids. The trail was constructed along an abandoned railroad right-of-way and travels through beautiful Michigan countryside.

The west end of the Musketawa Trail is located near the intersection of Black Creek Road and E. Sherman Boulevard. There is a large trailhead located at E. Broadway Avenue, 1 mile east of the intersection with Black Creek Road.

Fred Meijer Berry Junction Trail

The Fred Meijer Berry Junction Trail is a 7-mile long paved trail that is located south of Montague in Western Michigan, spanning between Whitehall and Dalton to the north of Muskegon. The trail was constructed along an abandoned railroad corridor and travels through farmland, forested section and rural residential areas.
