The Polly Anne Trail - Oakland County is an improved 14-mile long paved and unpaved pathway in Oakland and Lapeer County of Southeastern Michigan. The route of the trail extends from Orion Charter Township to the county border at Bordman Street, traveling across the open countryside north of the Detroit Urban Area. The trail was constructed along an abandoned railroad-right-of-way and has gentle grades and relatively few road crossings. Trail users will travel through thickly forested sections, past numerous ponds and lakes, across rivers and creeks and through open farmland. They will also pass through residential areas and small farming communities.

Conditions

Most of the Polly Ann Trail - Oakland County has an improved surface of crushed aggregate with some paved portions in the populated sections. The trail is open for bike riding and walking and motorized vehicles are not allowed. Dogs are allowed on leashes.

The south end of the Polly Ann Trail - Oakland County is located at Joslyn Road, south of Waldon Road in Orion Charter Township.

The north end of the improved Polly Ann Trail - Oakland County is located at Bordman Road on the border between Oakland and Lapeer Counties.

The Polly Ann Trail - Lapeer County corridor continues north to got through Dryden and Imlay City, but remains in a natural unimproved state. This section is open for horseback riding, mountain bikes and hiking, but is not suitable for road bikes.
