The Sammamish River Trail is a 10.9-mile long paved pathway that follows alongside the Sammamish River from Bothell to Redmond in Western Washington. The trail travels through the natural areas along the river and goes past vineyards, farms, several local parks & residential areas. The north end of the trail starts near Blyth Park in Bothell and the south end is located at Marymoor Park to the south of Redmond Town Center.

A number of other regional recreational trails intersect or come near to the Sammamish River Trail, including the Burke-Gillman Trail, the Tolt Pipeline Trail and the 520 Bike and Pedestrian Path.

Conditions

The Sammamish River Trail is paved the entire route. The trail does have a number of street crossings, but is located away from roadways for the most part. The trail is open for bike riding, running and walking.

Burke-Gilman Trail: the two trails meet up near Blyth Park off of Bothell Way NE and 96th Avenue NE in Bothell at the northwest end of the Sammamish River Trail

North Creek Trail: the two trails intersect at the southwest side of the interchange between Interstate 405 and Route 522. This location is just south of the University of Washington Bothell campus.

Tolt Pipeline Trail: the two trails meet up just north of the Northshore Athletic Fields on NE 145th Street in Woodinville.

Cross Kirkland Corridor: this trail starts at 1 mile along NE 124th Street to the west of the Sammamish River Trail in Kirkland.

Puget Power Trail: the two trails intersect to the west of Woodinville-Redmond Road NE on the north side of Redmond.

520 Bike and Pedestrian Path: the two trails meet up at the Redmond Town Center Open Space in Redmond.

East Lake Sammamish Trail: this trail can be reached by taking the bike path through Marymoor Park in Redmond.

The northwest end of the Sammamish River Trail is located near Blyth Park off of Bothell Way NE and 96th Avenue NE in Bothell.

The south end of the trail is located at West Lake Sammammish Parkway NE and Tosh Road to the west of Marymoor Park in Redmond.
