Yuma Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park Trail

The City of Yuma is located in Yuma County in Southwestern Arizona. The city is situated along the Colorado River and is close to the border with California and the border with Mexico.

Colorado River Trail

The Colorado River Trail is a 1.5-mile long paved path that extends from the intersection of 22nd Avenue and Water Street to Gateway Park. The route of the trail takes it by Joe Henry Memorial Park, West Wetlands Park, the Yuma Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park and Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park.

East Main Canal Path

The East Main Canal Path is a 6-mile long mostly paved path that extends from the Clorado River Trail to 40th Street. The trail follows along the canal on the east side. The trail starts near Wet Wetland Park on the Colorado River, goes by Carver Park, George Washington Carver Elementary School, the hospital, Ray Smucker Park, Kofa High School, Desert Sun Stadium and Yuma Municipal Golf Course.

Sunrise Point Park Trails

Sunrise Point Park is located at Quechan Drive and Levee Drive on the north side of Interstate 8. The park is located on the north banks of the Colorado River and has several trails for getting a little exercise.

Ray Smucker Park Trail

Ray Smucker Park is located on S. Avenue A on the south side of Yuma. The park is next to Kofa High School and near the East Main Canal Trail. The park has a 1-mile paved loop pathway.

West Wetlands Park

There are paved and unpaved walking paths at West Wetlands Park. The park is located on the northwest side of Yuma at the north end of S. Avenue A.  The trails in the park connect to the Colorado River Trail. There is also a large playground and parking at the park. the park is near to Joe Henry Memorial Park, Centennial Beach and the Colorado River.

Gateway Park

Gateway Park is located just south of the Colorado River on the north side of Yuma. The park is near the Colorado River Trail and the East Main Canal Trail. It is just east of the Yuma Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park and just west of the Yuma Territory Prison State Historic Park. There are paved pathways in Gateway Park.
