The Fountain Creek Regional Trail is a 10-mile long unpaved pathway that spans between the southern border of Colorado Springs and the City of Fountain in Central Colorado. This area is just east of Fort Carson.

At the north end the trail connects to the Pikes Peak Greenway. The trail then follows Fountain Creek to the south. The trail goes through the natural areas alongside the creek with cottonwoods and willows, farmland and grassy meadows. There are views of Pike Peak to the north and the foothills to the west.

The trail goes through Fountain Creek Regional Park. The park is a 460-acre linear park that includes Willow Springs Ponds, Hanson Nature Park, Fountain Creek Nature Center and the Duckwood Active Play Area with athletic fields and picnic shelter. There is fishing allowed at the ponds and the area is a great place for bird watching.

There was severe damage to the park and the trail in the Fountain area during the floods of September 2013. Some of the trail was washed away as the banks of the creek collapsed.

The Fountain Creek Regional Trail is part of the Colorado Front Range Trail system.
