The Richland B&O Trail is a 18.4-mile long paved pathway located between Mansfield and Butler in Central Ohio. The trail was built along a former railroad right-of-way. The trail goes through the beautiful Ohio countryside, past small farms and through thickly forested streches.

Conditions

The Richland B&O Trail is paved with asphalt for its entire route. The trail is open for bike riding, running and walking. There are relatively few road crossings once you leave the urban areas.

End Points

The north end of the Richland B&O Trail is located at a point to the northeast of W. 4th Street near North Lake Park on the northeast side of the City of Mansfield. The trail wraps around the west side of Mansfield then heads south to the communities of Lexington, Bellville and Butler.

The south end of the Richland B&O Trail is located on the southwest side of the community of Butler off of Simmons Street.
