Brunswick is located along the Androscoggin River in the southern part of the State of Maine. Other communiteis in this area include Topsham, Durham, Bath, Wollwich, and Lisbon.

Androscoggin River Bicycle Path

The Androscoggin River Bicycle Path is a 2.6-mile long paved pathway that travels alongside the river from a point east of the Brunswick-Topsham Bypass to Grover Lane. Much of the trail follows alongside Highway 1. There are trailheads with parking at each end of the trail.

Swinging Bridge and Androscoggin River Reservoir Trail

The Swinging Bridge that crosses the Androscoggin River at the end of Cushing Street and meets the end of Bridge Street on the north side. The 0.4-mile long Androscoggin River Reservoir Trail takes off to the northeast from the Swinging Bridge and reaches to Summer Street.

Paper Mill Trail

The Paper Mill Trail is a 3.5-mile long paved pathway that is located in Lisbon to the northwest of Brunswick. The trail starts at Upland Road then goes past Lisbon Community School. From there the trail heads south to the natural areas alongside the Androscoggin River. The south end of the trail goes past Phillip W. Sugg Middle School.

Brunswick Landing Perimeter Trail

The Brunswick Landing Perimeter Trail in a 6.6-mile long paved loop that wraps around the airport on the east side of the city. The trail can now be accessed from Pine Street on the north end as well as from Harpswell Road farther to the south.
