Auburn & Lewiston are located in Southen Maine, about 20 miles northwest of Brunswick. The two cities are situated on either side of the Androscoggin River.

Androscoggin Riverside Trail

The Androscoggin Riverside Trail is a 1.25-mile long paved pathway located along the river to either side of the Memorial Bridge in Lewiston. The trail starts at Sunnyside Park on Winter Street. The trail wanders through the woods along the rivers edge and has no street crossings.

Auburn Riverwalk

The Auburn Riverwalk is a 1-mile long paved pathway adjacent toe the Androscoggin River to either side of the Court Street Bridge. This location is next to the downtown area and has attractive pavement and landscaping.

The north end of the Auburn Riverwalk heads over to the Great Falls area with views of the dam and Fox Island. Trail users can cross the river on Court Street or the pedestrian bridge that leads over to Simard Payne Memorial Park in Lewiston.

Pettingill Park Trail

The Pettingill Park Trail is a 0.7-mile long paved path that wanders through grassy park area adjacent to residential neighborhoods located to the west of Union Street in Auburn.
