The Good Neighbor Trail is 10-mile long paved pathway that spans between Brooksville and the Withlacoochee State Trail in central Florida. The trail follows the route of an abandoned railroad right-of-way.

The Good Neighbor Trail starts in the middle of Brooksville near the Train Depot Museum and heads east. The trail travels through natural areas and woodlands for over 2 miles then runs alongside Richbarn Road for over 3 miles. The trail then crosses natural areas for the rest of the route, away from roads and traffic.

The east end of the trail is at the intersection with the Withlacoochee State Trail, just west of Croom Rital Road.

The Good Neighbor Trail is a section of the Florida Coast-to-Coast system of trails that will eventually run for 250 miles to cross the state from the Atlantic Coast to the Gulf Coast.

Conditions

The Good Neighbor Trail is paved for the entire route. The trail is open for bike riding, walking and running.
