The Lanie Fleisher Chester Creek Trail is a 4-mile long paved pathway that spans between Westchester Lagoon and Goose Lake Park in Anchorage, Alaska. The trail wanders through the natural areas and parks located adjacent to Chester Creek. The trail is used for recreational purposes but also by those commuting to the downtown areas or to the university campus.

The east end of the trail is connected to the trail in Goose Lake Park which leads to trails to Alaska Pacific University and Russian Jack Springs Park.

Conditions

The Lanie Fleisher Chester Creek Trail is paved for the entire route. Most of the trail is located away from roadways though there are some road crossings. The trail is open for bike riding, running and walking and skiing in snowy months.

Tony Knowles Coastal Trail: the west end of the Lanie Fleisher Chester Creek Trail connects to the trail that wraps around the north side of the Westchester Lagoon in Margaret Eagan Sullivan Park which in turn connects to the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail.

Goose Lake Park Trail: the two trails meet at the eastern end of the Chester Creek Trail. The Goose Lake Park Trail then connects to trails leading up to Russian Jack Springs Park.

End Points

The west end of the Lanie Fleisher Chester Creek Trail is located on the east end of Margaret Eagan Sullivan Park at the south end of N Street. This location lies to the west of Walter J. Hickel Parkway and south of W. 15th Avenue.

The east end of the trail is located at Goose Lake Park to the south of the intersection of E. Northern Lights Boulevard and Bragaw Street.
