The Mountain View Corridor Trail is a 16.5-mile long paved pathway that follows alongside the roadway of Mountain View Corridor, Route 85, on the south end of the Salt Lake City metro area. Along with pretty views of the Salt Lake Valley and the surrounding hills, the trail offers a great place to ride a bike with only a few road crossings. The trail is fairly new, wide and smooth.

At the south end of the Mountain View Corridor expressway, the trail turns to the east and follows Porter Rockwell Boulevard and ends at Redwood Road.

Conditions

The Mountain View Corridor Trail is open for non-motorized uses such as bike riding, walking and running. The trail has relatively few road crossings and is wide and smooth.

The south end of the Mountain View Corridor Trail is close by to the Lake Utah Distribution Canal Trail, the Utah and Salt Lake Canal Trail and the Jordan River Parkway Trail.
