Myrtle Beach is located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in the eastern part of the State of South Carolina.

Myrtle Beach has numerous paved recreational trails for bike riding, running and walking. Many of these trails are located alongside a major roadway.

East Coast Greenway

The East Coast Greenway is a developing system of separated bike paths and designated roadways that stretch from Maine to Florida. Myrtle Beach has a 13.5-mile long paved pathway that is part of the East Coast Greenway.

The East Coast Greenway follows alongside Marina Parkway, 62nd Avenue North, Robert M. Grisson Parkway, Harrelson Boulevard and S. Kings Highway. the south end of the trail is located at the south end of Myrtle Beach State Park. The trail connects to multiple multi-use paths along its route and goes past a number of local parks.
