Nashua is located along the Nashua River about 16 miles south of Manchester and 4 miles north of Massachusetts in Southern New Hampshire.

Nashua River Rail Trail

The Nashua River Rail Trail is an 11-mile long paved pathway that extends from Ayer, Massachusetts to the outskirts of Nashua, New Hampshire. A 1-mile long segment exists in New Hampshire. The trail was constructed along an abandoned railroad right-of-way and travels past urban areas, commercial areas, residential areas and forested areas.

The north end of the Nashua River Rail Trail is located along Gilson Road to the west of W. Hollis Street. there is a large parking area at this location.

Nashua River Trail

The Nashua River Trail system consists of over 4 miles of pathways located along the river to the west of the downtown area of Nashua. The trails go through natural forested areas and past Nashua High School and Lincoln Park.
