The Indian Creek Trail is a 3.5-mile long paved pathway located on thw south side of Kansas City in Western Missouri. The trail meanders through the natural areas alongside the creek and spans from State Line Road, just north of Interstate 435 to a point southwest of the interchange between E. Bannister Road and Blue River Road. The Indian Creek Trail goes past commercial centers, residential neighborhoods and schools.

The west end of the Indian Creek Trail connects to the Indian Creek Bike and Hike Trail in Kansas. The Indian Creek Bike and Hike Trail then intersects to the Tomahawk Creek Trail. The two trails add another 25 miles of paved pathways to the system.

At its eastern end the Indian Creek Trail meets the Blue River Parkway Trail.

Conditions

The Indian Creek Trail is paved for the entire route. The trail is open for bike riding, walking and running.

Indian Creek Hike and Bike Trail & Tomahawk Creek Trail: at its western end at the Kansas/Missouri State Line, the Indian Creek Trail meets the Indian Creek Hike and Bike Trail. The hike and bike trail then intersects the Tomahawk Creek Trail. These two trails add over 25-miles of paved pathways to the system of trails.

Blue River Parkway Trail: The north end of the Blue River Parkway Trail connects to the east end of the Indian Creek Trail.

End Points

The west end of the Indian Creek Trail is located at Stateline Road, just north of Interstate 435 on the south side of Kansas City.

The east end of the trail is located at a point to the southwest of the interchange between Route W and Blue River Road on the south side of Kansas City.
