Regional Trails

Marshall is located in Southwestern Minnesota. The city is located along the Redwood River, is the home of Southwest Minnesota State University and is located to the northeast of Camden State Park.

Marshall has several miles of paved recreational trails for bike riding and walking. There is the Camden Regional Trail that wraps around the city of Marshall and heads to the south through the community of Lynd and on to Camden State Park. There are also paved walking paths at Legion Field and Independence Park.

Camden Regional Trail

The Camden Regional Trail is a paved pathway that that wraps around the city of Marshall and heads to the south through the community of Lynd and on to Camden State Park. 

The Camden Regional Trail goes past the following points of interest:

Marshall Senior High School
Campus of SMSU
Justice Park
Athletic fields on Channel Parkway
Lyon County Park and Fairground
Camden State Park

The Camden Regional Trail has recently been expanded in the summer of 2017. The newer trail segments are not displayed on our map as the Google Map Satellite View is not up to date and the trail can not be mapped accurately on the map until it is visible on the aerial photography.
