The Glen Highway Trail is a paved bike path that follows alongside Glen Highway, Highway 1, for over 17.5 miles to the north of Anchorage. The north end of the path is located at Birchwood Loop Road in Chugiak. The path also goes through Eagle River and past Fort Richardson. The south end of the path is located at Vanderberg Avenue / Boniface Parkway.

Conditions

The Glen Highway Trail is paved for the entire route. The trail is open to bike riding and walking. The trail has long stretches between road crossings.
